This 40m-10m UNUNTENNA is portable&compact and it is suitable for backyard&portable SOTA.
Integrated 9:1 voltage BALUN to match your unbalanced 50 ohm impedance input to a 450 ohm impedance unbalanced long line.
Elecraft KX-2, KX-3, Icom IC-703 and manual Multi Z Tuner autotuners are tested with well operation.
Best efficiency at 20M distance, S performance is lower at 40M and 10M
For drive components, use non-resonant length wire, usually 41′, 35.5′ or 29′, and optionally a 1/4 wire as the balancer, 35′ length balancer for all frequency bands.
It is designed to wrap the connected wires around the device to store it as a small&compact device.
Offer all components except antenna wires and balanced wires.
You may use your existing stuff and we recommend anything from 20awg to 26awg.
